The Evrone team is engaged in product development for startups and helps clients from the USA and Europe.

We are looking for an engineer for a hotel booking service. Every year, it helps millions of travelers around the world book great accommodations. The system processes thousands of requests per second and integrates with many vendors and other partners.

A team of three Go engineers and a tech lead are responsible for the backend and infrastructure, working with a highly scalable API, data processing and analysis, merging and matching content.

Technology stack: Go, Redis, AWS (ElastiCache, ECS, S3, Batch), PostgreSQL, K8S, Gitlab CI

We are currently looking for Middle / Middle+ / Senior. Salary depends on the level and is determined after passing a technical interview.

Requirements

What we want to see in you:

• Knowledge and at least two years of experience in commercial and team development with Golang.
• Experience in using databases: PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Team communication is in English, so your proficiency level should not be lower than B1.

It will be a plus if you know:

• AWS (ElastiCache, ECS, S3, Batch)
• Kubernetes and tools for CI/CD
• Kafka or RabbitMQ

Working Conditions

We hold Go technical meetups, publish our own news digest, and also contribute to open source projects.

If you have popular open source projects, we will help with their promotion and support their development. For example, we developed Dummy — an API mocking application. You will get paid for participation in open source separately.

Our engineers speak at the leading conferences in Europe. This year we set up a stand and spoke at the Highload and TeamLeadConf conferences.

The entire team has been working remotely since 2008. We know how to organize distributed development comfortably and efficiently. However, we do have offices available for work and meetings, as well as sales offices in San Francisco and Berlin.
